Join SFU Economics Student Society brand new Coffee & Conversations Series for Women in Economics. Students will get to connect with fellow peers, professors and inspiring female professionals from various industries each month.
Purpose: To create a comfortable space and to meet and support amazing, like minded women in economics to share academic/professional/personal challenges and successes, experiences, advice, questions and strategies.
The Coffee & Conversations Series will occur on the third Thursday of every month for the Summer semester, starting June 18, 2020, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.
Limited seats for each coffee chat to maintain an intimate and personable experience for the attendees. Open to all self-identified women in the Department of Economics, including faculty.
During the sessions, we expect courtesy and respect among all participants. Any disrespectful comments are grounds to be removed from the session. Let’s treat each other with kindness!
